Maleek Lee leads transfer out of Booker football program

Following the dismissal of head coach Carlos Woods, Maleek Lee, a 4-star Georgia Tech commit, is among at least 17 players leaving Booker High School’s football program. Lee has transferred to Palmetto, while assistant coach Jermaine Mckenzie will join Southeast as the wide receivers and specialist coach. Several players, including three-star cornerback Jordan Booker and defensive tackle Nate Rodriguez, are also moving to different schools. The transfers come after a successful 13-2 season for the Tornadoes last fall.
