Man City considers Manu Kone as alternative to Enzo Fernandez

Summary

Manchester City is exploring Roma midfielder Manu Kone as a potential substitute for Enzo Fernandez, according to reports. City’s new coach Enzo Maresca aims to reshape the midfield ahead of the Premier League season. While City remains interested in Fernandez, Chelsea's £120 million asking price has stalled negotiations, leading to Kone emerging as a more feasible option. Kone, valued at approximately £51 million, has experience with the French national team and a strong record in Serie A. The team weighs this move against its midfield needs following key player departures.
