Manchester United advancing talks for Brighton’s Baleba after £60m bid
Summary

Manchester United is in advanced discussions with Brighton over the potential transfer of midfielder Baleba. United has reportedly made an opening offer of £60 million, with an additional £5 million in add-ons, although this falls below Brighton's expectations. Both clubs are optimistic about reaching a compromise. Baleba, who is 22, has shown interest in the move as Manchester looks to strengthen its midfield after recent changes, including the departures of Casemiro and an injury to Manuel Ugarte. Brighton had previously set Baleba's asking price at around £100 million last summer, but inconsistent performances have led to a reassessment of his value.
