Manchester United eye David Raum to bolster defense ahead of January

Manchester United is considering a transfer for RB Leipzig defender David Raum as they look to strengthen their backline before the January window. Following significant investments in their attack and midfield, the club is prioritizing defensive reinforcement. Raum, who has established himself in the Bundesliga, could solve United's left-back issues with his experience and versatility. The 28-year-old's contract with Leipzig runs until 2027, which might make a January move advantageous for both parties. Negotiations could advance if Leipzig is willing to part with Raum around mid-season.
