Manchester United's Onana expected back for pre-season training in July

Summary

Andre Onana has been told he can seek a new club but will return to Manchester United for pre-season training in the second week of July. No clubs have emerged that would match Onana's wages, which are set to increase due to United's participation in the Champions League next season. Currently, the club's options for backup goalkeepers include Tom Heaton and youth players, as they consider a potential move for an experienced goalkeeper like Sam Johnstone. Discussions continue around the futures of other goalkeepers at the club, including Radek Vitek, whose situation remains uncertain ahead of the pre-season schedule.
