Marc Lore, co-owner of the Minnesota Timberwolves and Lynx, has agreed to sell his controlling stake in the franchises to limited partner Marc Shad. The deal values the teams at $4.5 billion and comes just over a year after Lore finalized his purchase from Glen Taylor for $1.5 billion. Lore is swapping roles with Shad while Alex Rodriguez will remain as co-owner. The transaction is in line with Lore's commitment to the teams' current leadership structures, including CEO Matt Caldwell and Timberwolves head coach Chris Finch.
