Marlins minor league affiliates suffer losses across all levels

Every Miami Marlins minor league affiliate lost its game on Tuesday. The Triple-A Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp dropped a 9-3 decision to the Norfolk Tides, despite Deyvison De Los Santos recording two home runs. In Double-A, the Pensacola Blue Wahoos lost 3-2 to the Columbus Clingstones but remain 6.5 games ahead in the division with a magic number of five to reach the postseason. The High-A Beloit Sky Carp lost 4-2 to the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, while the Single-A Jupiter Hammerheads fell 7-6 to the St. Lucie Mets. Echedry Vargas hit his 26th home run of the season for the Hammerheads during the defeat. Despite the organizational skid, the Marlins continue to see individual growth with prospects like Jonas Uzcategui and Hyun Seung Lee recently earning league recognition.
