Marlins snap four-game losing streak by defeating Dodgers 4-3

Graham Pauley hit a two-run homer to help the Miami Marlins overcome an early deficit and beat the Los Angeles Dodgers 4-3 on Saturday. The result snapped a four-game losing streak for Miami and halted an eight-game win streak for the Dodgers. Mookie Betts and Max Muncy hit consecutive home runs in the first inning to give Los Angeles an early 2-0 lead, but the team managed only two additional hits for the remainder of the game. Tyler Glasnow took the loss for the Dodgers after allowing four runs over four innings. Pete Fairbanks earned his 19th save of the season by retiring Will Smith to end the ninth inning. Eury Pérez is scheduled to start for the Marlins in Sunday’s series finale, while the Dodgers have not yet announced their starter.
