Marquette secures 3-1 victory over Northwestern in men's soccer

Northwestern dropped its second consecutive game Saturday, falling 3-1 to Marquette in Milwaukee. Despite controlling possession and maintaining a shot advantage, the Wildcats failed to convert opportunities while the Golden Eagles capitalized on defensive lapses. Mads Konrad Horgøien opened the scoring in the first half, and Marquette added a second goal shortly after the break. Italo Addimandi provided the only goal for Northwestern off an assist from Andrew Millar midway through the second half. Marquette sealed the match with a third goal in the final minutes to hand the Wildcats their second loss of the season. Northwestern now prepares for its upcoming conference opener against No. 2 Maryland, scheduled for next Friday.
