Max Anstie and Star Racing part ways ahead of WSX season

Max Anstie and Monster Energy / Yamaha Star Racing have mutually agreed to part ways, allowing Anstie to pursue the World Supercross Championship. Team General Manager Wil Hahn confirmed the decision, noting Anstie's desire to race in the WSX. Anstie, the defending SX2 divisional champion, has not competed since suffering an injury in Pro Motocross qualification. He finished the Monster Energy Supercross season ranked third in the 250 West standings but dropped to 11th in the combined SuperMotocross League points after failing to score in the outdoor series. Anstie expressed gratitude for his time with Star Racing and is looking forward to his future plans.
