Maya World identifies childhood favorite wrestlers from WWE

AEW wrestler Maya World recently discussed the performers who influenced her interest in professional wrestling during her childhood. While acknowledging the impact of Athena and Mercedes Mone on her career development, World stated that her earliest favorites were WWE stars The Undertaker and Kelly Kelly. World followed the career of Kelly Kelly closely during the latter's time in the WWE Divas division. Kelly Kelly began her career on the ECW brand in 2006 and later secured the Divas Championship in 2011 after a victory over Brie Bella. Although World noted that these early favorites were not the primary inspiration for her own transition into the wrestling ring, she expressed appreciation for their contributions to the industry.
