Meadowbrook and Shenandoah volleyball teams enter new OHSAA season

High school volleyball programs across East Central Ohio are beginning the 2026 season with aspirations for deep tournament runs. Meadowbrook enters the campaign following a 25-3 record last year, which included an undefeated MVL title and a trip to the Division IV state final four. Meanwhile, Shenandoah shifts focus to a new season after capturing the Division VI district championship and reaching the regional tournament in 2025. Several other area schools, including John Glenn, Cambridge, Caldwell, Barnesville, and Buckeye Trail, are also preparing for the upcoming OHSAA playoff cycle. Coaches for the top programs cite senior leadership and experience as primary components for their team outlooks as they look to defend their respective standings.
