Micah Parsons starts season on PUP list, eyes mid-October return

Summary

Micah Parsons will begin the 2026 NFL season on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list, with a target return date set for mid-October. The Green Bay Packers, Parsons' current team, have a key matchup against the Dallas Cowboys on October 18, which could mark his first game back following an ACL injury. With five months already spent in rehabilitation, Parsons would have four months remaining to recover before his anticipated return. Facing the Cowboys would be notable for Parsons, as he spent four seasons with the team before his trade to the Packers prior to the 2025 season.
