Michael Carrick prepares heavily rotated Manchester United side for Sabah FK

Manchester United manager Michael Carrick is expected to make widespread changes to his starting lineup for Thursday’s Champions League match against Sabah FK at Old Trafford. With a Premier League fixture against Manchester City looming on Sunday, the squad will feature several rotational players to manage workload. Benjamin Sesko is in line for his first start for the club, while Leny Yoro, Ayden Heaven, and Andrey Santos are also projected to enter the team. Luke Shaw and Kobbie Mainoo are likely to be rested, potentially opening opportunities for Patrick Dorgu to play at left-back and Shea Lacey to appear on the wing. While Matthijs de Ligt has resumed training, he is not expected to start. The team remains without Manuel Ugarte and Carlos Baleba, who are both currently sidelined by injury.
