Middlesex wicketkeeper Jack Davies retires from cricket at 26

Middlesex wicketkeeper Jack Davies has announced his retirement from professional cricket at the age of 26. He made his first-class debut in 2020 during the Bob Willis Trophy and became Middlesex's regular wicketkeeper following John Simpson's departure. In his career, Davies played over 100 matches for the club, scoring more than 2,000 runs and achieving 88 dismissals. He plans to run 24 marathons in 24 days to raise funds for charity starting September 3.
