Midfielder Manuel Ángel finalizes transfer from Real Madrid to Fulham

Real Madrid academy midfielder Manuel Ángel is nearing a permanent move to Fulham. The 23-year-old traveled to London on September 1 to complete a mandatory medical examination. The transfer involves an agreement where Real Madrid retains a 50 percent stake in any future sale of the player. Fulham manager Álvaro Arbeloa, who previously coached Ángel in the Real Madrid youth system, played a central role in facilitating the deal. This move marks the third time this summer that Fulham has acquired a player from the Spanish club's academy, following the arrivals of Gonzalo García and César Palacios. Ángel is expected to join the squad pending the successful completion of his medical and final paperwork.
