Mike Hesson expected to lead Pakistan for third Test against England

Pakistan head coach for white-ball cricket Mike Hesson is reportedly set to take control of the Test side for the final match against England. The move follows Pakistan's 194-run defeat at Lord's, which resulted in a 0-2 series deficit. Current red-ball coach Sarfaraz Ahmed faces potential removal from his position at the conclusion of the England tour. In addition to the coaching shift, the team has released Imam-ul-Haq and Mohammad Rizwan, calling up Saim Ayub and Arafat Minhas as replacements for the Edgbaston fixture. The Pakistan Cricket Board has not yet provided official confirmation regarding the coaching changes. The third Test is scheduled to begin on September 9 in Birmingham.
