Mike Tomlin makes his NFL analyst debut on NBC Sports coverage

Former Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin transitions to a new role as an analyst for NBC Sports during the start of the 2026 NFL regular season. Tomlin is scheduled to appear on the broadcast for the Super Bowl 60 rematch between the Patriots and Seahawks. During a recent conference call, the longtime coach expressed excitement about his new position and noted he expects to experience some initial jitters. Tomlin spent 19 seasons as the head coach of the Steelers before joining the media network. He will return to the sidelines in a broadcast capacity for the Steelers matchup against the Bengals in Week 10 and again when the team hosts the Texans in Week 13.
