Mississippi State baseball sets NCAA average attendance record

Mississippi State baseball has achieved a new NCAA record for average attendance during the 2026 season, drawing 11,868 fans per game. This surpasses the previous record of 11,188 set by LSU in 2023. The Bulldogs consistently attracted strong crowds, with notable events including a game against LSU that drew 15,829 spectators, ranking as the third-largest on-campus crowd in NCAA history. Under first-year coach Brian O'Connor, Mississippi State has maintained high attendance figures in recent seasons, hosting significant crowds at Dudy Noble Field. LSU, although excluded from the NCAA Tournament this year, recorded an average attendance of 11,012.
