Missouri and Kansas State open college football seasons this week

Missouri hosts Arkansas-Pine Bluff at Memorial Stadium on Thursday, Sept. 3, at 7 p.m. CT to start its 2026 campaign. The game will be broadcast on the SEC Network and marks the first contest at the venue following a $250-million renovation to the north end zone. Eli Drinkwitz enters his seventh season as head coach for the Tigers, who have sold out their tickets for a 21st consecutive home game. Separately, Kansas State prepares to host Nicholls on Saturday, Sept. 5, at 6 p.m. CT at Bill Snyder Family Stadium. This game will be available exclusively through a stream on ESPN+. The matchup serves as the debut for Collin Klein as the head coach of the Wildcats after he spent the previous two seasons as the offensive coordinator at Texas A&M.
