Missouri women’s golf finishes ninth at the ANNIKA Intercollegiate tournament

Missouri women’s golf secured a ninth-place finish at the ANNIKA Intercollegiate held Sept. 7-9 at the Royal Golf Club in Lake Elmo, Minnesota. The team climbed back to the ninth spot during the third round after dropping to 10th on the second day. The Tigers finished with a collective score of +37, showing improvement by shooting +8 in the final round compared to +13 and +16 in the opening days. Senior Fleur van Beek led the squad by tying for 29th place with a +4 total. The tournament featured a competitive field of 12 teams, including several programs that participated in last season’s NCAA National Championship. Wake Forest took the team title at the event, which is hosted by the ANNIKA Foundation. Missouri returns to competition at the Johnnie Imes Invitational in Columbia on Sept. 21-22.
