MK Dons have signed winger Sam Silvera on a free transfer after his release from Middlesbrough. The 25-year-old Australian international made 65 appearances for Middlesbrough, scoring eight goals over three seasons. He had been a first-choice player at the start of the 2025-26 season but lost his place due to a foot injury in February. Silvera becomes MK Dons' sixth signing of the summer as they prepare for their first season back in League One since 2022-23. The club has not disclosed the length of his contract.
