Monaco midfielder Anis Soubeir faces three weeks out with ankle injury

AS Monaco midfielder Anis Soubeir will miss approximately three weeks of action after sustaining a right ankle sprain. The 19-year-old was injured during a challenge with Ismaël Doukouré in the 22nd minute of Saturday's match against RC Strasbourg-Alsace at the Stade de la Meinau. The contest finished in a 1-1 draw. Matthis Abline replaced Soubeir following the incident. A former FC Metz academy product, Soubeir joined the Monaco first team this summer and made his first career start in this fixture after appearing as a substitute in the club’s previous five matches. Medical staff anticipate the Moroccan Under-20 international will remain sidelined through the current international break.
