Morris Knolls softball captures fourth straight sectional title

Morris Knolls won the North 1, Group 4 softball sectional championship by defeating Passaic Tech 4-1 on June 4. After allowing an early run, Morris Knolls scored three in the first inning and added another in the third. Sophomore Jessica Seprish pitched 6.2 scoreless innings for the Golden Eagles, who secured their fourth consecutive sectional title and have now won 10 in program history. Morris Knolls improved to 27-3 and extended their winning streak to 19 games, losing only one match since a 1-2 start this season. The win qualifies them for the Group 4 state semifinals.
