Morton defeats Celtic in 1950 opening League match

On September 9, 1950, Morton secured a 4-3 victory over Celtic in the opening match of the League campaign. Neil Mochan recorded a hat-trick for the visitors, including the decisive goal in the final five minutes, while John McPhail also scored three goals for Celtic.
