Mourinho faces defensive challenges for Real Madrid against Villarreal

Summary

Real Madrid prepares to face Villarreal next weekend as they resume their campaign after the international break. Coach Jose Mourinho is navigating a defensive crisis, with only Antonio Rudiger available due to injuries and suspensions affecting other central defenders. Possible solutions for Mourinho include converting Aurelien Tchouameni into a centre-back or fielding Denzel Dumfries in an unconventional role. Additionally, Mourinho may tap into the youth ranks, considering options like 19-year-old Mario Rivas. The team's defensive setup will be pivotal in their upcoming match.
