Moustapha Thiam, a center who transferred to Michigan after one season with the Cincinnati Bearcats, has decided to remain with the Wolverines. This decision comes following the departure of head coach Dusty May to the NBA's Dallas Mavericks. Thiam, standing at 7-foot-2, averaged 12.8 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 1.6 blocks over 31 games during his sophomore season with the Bearcats. He began his collegiate career at UCF, where he averaged 10.4 points and 6.4 rebounds in 34 games. Thiam committed to Michigan in April.
