Mykhailo Mudryk is cleared to return to professional soccer following a suspension for a doping violation. The winger, who joined Chelsea from Shakhtar Donetsk in 2023 for an initial £61m, was handed a four-year ban after returning an adverse finding for meldonium during an out-of-competition test in October 2024. Mudryk maintained he never intentionally took the substance and appealed the decision to the Court of Arbitration for Sport. Following an agreement where Mudryk accepted breaking anti-doping rules and served a suspension, he was cleared to resume competition on July 31, 2026. The Football Association confirmed the proceedings are resolved, allowing the player to restart his career. Mudryk is set to move to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to continue his professional playing career.
