Myles Borne attacks Tavion Heights after reconciliation on NXT

I haven’t been a big fan of pretty much anything NXT has done over the past year or so. When guys like Bron Breakker, Trick Williams, and Oba Femi took off for the main roster, it left a gaping hole in the talent pool that I’m struggling to see anyone fill. It’s gotten so bad, Grayson Waller was sent back down to cut promos about how the men’s division is getting lapped by the women’s division, and then he won the title, more or less proving himself correct. A big part of the problem is they’ve been doing things like this Myles Borne/Tavion Heights story. They were a team, split up, got back together, won titles, and then split up again right after they lost said titles. Borne was the one who turned on Heights, back at Heatwave on Aug. 30. He spent the next couple weeks making like he was truly sorry, leading up to his big in-ring apology on NXT television this week: "I'm sorry" 🙏 A very conflicted conversation between Tavion Heights and Myles Borne! pic.twitter.com/odArDnmHqY — WWE (@WWE) September 16, 2026 Heights outright admits he only really had success when he was working alongside Borne, and he eventually got around to forgiving him before declaring to the world that they’re “dogs for life” and giving him a big hug. Borne turned on Heights again, immediately after making up with him. I would applaud this if I didn’t think I was supposed to be taking it seriously. Heights is killed dead now, fully in the grave, no climbing out. He’s only ever been anything with Borne, and now Borne has made him look like the biggest fool of all time. It kills Heights while doing nothing for Borne. I don’t get it. I don’t get much of anything NXT does with its men’s roster these days. You?
