Natalya aspires to become modern-day Fabulous Moolah in WWE

Summary

Natalya, currently showcasing her character in WWE's NXT, expressed a desire to emulate the Fabulous Moolah by becoming a prominent heel. Speaking on Busted Open After Dark, she emphasized her need for collective support to elevate her status within the industry. While Moolah, a multi-time Hall of Famer, has a controversial legacy due to serious allegations against her, Natalya remains focused on establishing a powerful presence in wrestling. Her current character is portrayed as passionate rather than explicitly villainous or heroic. WWE faced backlash in 2018 over Moolah’s name being associated with the WrestleMania Women's Battle Royal, leading to a rebranding of the event.
