Nebraska secures commitment from four-star recruit Nehemiah Ombati

Nebraska football has received a commitment from Nehemiah Ombati, a four-star defensive lineman in the class of 2027. Ombati, who stands 6-foot-3 and weighs 275 pounds, made the announcement on social media. He is ranked as the 44th overall defensive lineman and the third in his class from Minnesota, having previously garnered interest from Missouri, Wisconsin, Iowa, and Kansas State. Ombati showcased impressive performance during his junior season at Shakopee High School, recording 70 total tackles, six tackles for loss, and 3.5 sacks over nine games. Nebraska now has 16 commitments in the 2027 recruiting class, including six blue-chip prospects, and Ombati's addition strengthens their defensive line recruits.
