Nets ranked 12th in Eastern Conference despite offseason additions

Summary

The Brooklyn Nets are currently ranked 12th in the Eastern Conference after significant offseason moves, including the addition of Julius Randle. Randle joins the team following a notable performance with the Minnesota Timberwolves, and the Nets also hope to further develop Michael Porter Jr., who recently expressed a desire to stay in Brooklyn. Team coach Jordi Fernández, who received an extension despite a rocky start, is seen as a potential 'dark horse' for Coach of the Year. The Nets aim to improve upon last season's 20-win record as they look ahead to the upcoming season.
