New Mexico United academy players receive custom jerseys at ceremony

New Mexico United held a ceremony on June 12 to present custom jerseys to seven graduating academy players. Each player received their kit from a first-team player, including Charlie Groves, who was presented his jersey by midfielder Marlon Vargas. The event emphasized the relationship between academy players and the first team, with several academy members participating in first-team training sessions. Groves and others expressed gratitude for the opportunity to learn from and train alongside experienced players. The players will continue making appearances in training sessions before advancing to their college soccer programs.
