Newcastle United intensifies pursuit of La Liga winger Victor Munoz

Summary

Newcastle United plans to escalate discussions to sign Osasuna winger Victor Munoz this week. The 22-year-old Munoz, who has experience with Barcelona and Real Madrid academies, fits Newcastle's strategy of targeting younger players. Osasuna has a £34.5 million valuation for Munoz, and Newcastle aims to negotiate a payment structure rather than paying the full amount up front. Other targets in Newcastle's recruitment strategy include Wolves teenager Mateus Mane and Atalanta right back Marco Palestra. Despite interest, Real Madrid is not expected to complicate negotiations for Munoz, allowing Newcastle to move forward with confidence.
