Nick Caley sees growth from Texans offensive linemen before Buffalo Bills game

Houston Texans offensive coordinator Nick Caley addressed the progress of his young offensive line unit on Thursday as the team prepares for its season opener. Second-year left tackle Aireontae Ersery and rookie left guard Keylan Rutledge are slated to start against the Buffalo Bills this Sunday at Reliant Stadium. Caley noted that while the transition to the speed of the NFL presents challenges, both players have demonstrated consistent improvement through preseason work and practice reps. The offensive line faces a test against a Buffalo defense that ranked highly in passing coverage last year. Kickoff is scheduled for noon CT.
