Nick Vannett joins Baltimore Ravens practice squad as NFL record looms

Tight end Nick Vannett joined the Baltimore Ravens practice squad last week, marking his 11th NFL organization. Throughout his ten-season career, Vannett has played in regular-season games for nine different teams, including the Seattle Seahawks, Pittsburgh Steelers, Denver Broncos, New Orleans Saints, New York Giants, Los Angeles Chargers, Tennessee Titans, Minnesota Vikings, and Los Angeles Rams. Practice squad members may be elevated to the active roster for up to three games per season. If the Baltimore Ravens activate Vannett, he will become the third player in league history to play for 10 different teams. He joins Shayne Graham and Villie Moss as the only players to reach that milestone. Across 121 career games, the veteran tight end has recorded 108 receptions for 1,012 yards and nine touchdowns.
