Nikola Jokić considers delaying new Nuggets contract extension

Nikola Jokić, center for the Denver Nuggets, may hold off on extending his current contract this summer. NBA insider Marc Stein reports that this decision could lead to Jokić entering free agency in 2027. The Nuggets have struggled to maintain consistency since their 2023 championship. While Jokić’s future remains uncertain, speculation continues to grow if he does not sign a new deal soon. The upcoming summer could be pivotal for Jokić and the Nuggets.
