Nikola Vucevic joins Orlando Magic for upcoming NBA season

Nikola Vucevic returns to the Orlando Magic for the upcoming season after playing for the Chicago Bulls and Boston Celtics last year. The veteran center participated in workouts alongside Paolo Banchero, Franz Wagner, Anthony Black, and Wendell Carter Jr. at the AdventHealth Training Center this week. Following the departure of Moritz Wagner, the organization intends to use Vucevic to bolster its bench depth and address frontcourt spacing. During the previous season, Vucevic averaged 15.1 points and 8.4 rebounds. Under the direction of head coach Sean Sweeney, Vucevic is expected to contribute as a reserve frontcourt option while providing veteran experience to the playoff-caliber roster.
