No. 18 TCU volleyball defeats No. 8 SMU in five sets

No. 18 TCU hosted No. 8 SMU for a five-set volleyball match at Schollmaier Arena on Wednesday. The Horned Frogs secured the victory with set scores of 16-25, 25-22, 25-16, 26-28, 15-12. Becca Kelley paced the TCU attack with 20 kills, while Evan Hendrix added 17 kills and Rosemary Archer recorded 40 assists. Kinsley Young contributed nine blocks to help the Horned Frogs hold the Mustangs to a.204 hitting rate. Alice Volpe anchored the defense with 20 digs in the win. This result moves TCU to a 2-1 record on the season.
