Non-compete clause for former WWE announcer Samantha Irvin expires next month

Former WWE ring announcer Samantha Irvin is set to finish her non-compete period next month. Irvin joined the company in 2021 and departed on October 21, 2025. Her contract contained a 24-month non-compete clause triggered by her decision to quit before the conclusion of her three-year deal. Irvin previously stated that her departure was motivated by a desire for more on-screen responsibilities, such as a manager or General Manager role, which the company declined to provide. Since leaving the organization, she has pursued a music career, releasing four singles during 2025. Unlike talent released by the company, employees who resign before their contract expires do not receive salary payments during the non-compete window.
