North Country teams record collegiate and high school soccer results

Athletic programs across Northern New York concluded a variety of contests on Wednesday. In college men’s soccer, St. Lawrence defeated SUNY Canton 4-1, while SUNY Cortland secured a 1-0 win against Clarkson. The college women’s soccer slate saw Norwich beat SUNY Canton 3-0, Clarkson edge SUNY Plattsburgh 1-0, and Jefferson CC top SUNY Broome 1-0. High school competition featured Watertown defeating Carthage 6-0 and South Jefferson winning 8-1 against General Brown. Additional results included victories for Lowville, Sandy Creek, Lyme, Harrisville, and Hammond in boys' play, along with a Madrid-Waddington win in girls' soccer. Beyond the pitch, local volleyball and golf matches also took place, while Utica City FC confirmed the hiring of Bourdeau as the team's new head coach.
