The Denver Nuggets are waiving center Jonas Valanciunas as they avoid a $10 million guarantee on his contract. Valanciunas, acquired from the Sacramento Kings last offseason, fell out of the regular rotation towards the end of the season and during a playoff series against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
