NWSL announces schedule dates for 2027 season starting in February

The National Women's Soccer League revealed its 2027 season schedule, marking the league's 15th anniversary. The NWSL Challenge Cup will kick off on February 6, followed by the regular season beginning on February 11. The season will feature a 30-match schedule for the league's 16 teams, with key breaks for the 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup. The regular season will conclude with NWSL Decision Day on October 31, and playoffs will start on November 5, culminating in the NWSL Championship on November 20. Expansion plans for 2028 have already been announced, introducing two new clubs in Atlanta and Columbus.
