Oklahoma State softball hosts the Chinese National Team for joint practice

Oklahoma State softball is set to host the Chinese National Team for a joint practice session at Cowgirl Stadium on Thursday. The event is scheduled for 6 p.m. and is open to the public, with free admission provided on a first-come, first-serve basis. The Chinese National Team currently holds the No. 8 ranking in the World Baseball Softball Confederation and recently finished fifth at the International Cup held in Oklahoma City. During that August tournament, the team recorded victories against Australia, Chinese Taipei, and American Samoa. The joint practice serves as preparation for the Cowgirls before they begin their fall schedule on September 23 against the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma. The Oklahoma State program, which finished last season with a 41-17 record, looks toward the upcoming fall season following an NCAA Super Regional appearance.
