Old Dominion names Quinn Henicle starting quarterback for 2026 season

Old Dominion University has announced that redshirt sophomore Quinn Henicle will be the starting quarterback for the 2026 football season. The decision was confirmed following a competitive training camp and comes ahead of the team's season opener against Norfolk State on September 5 at S. B. Ballard Stadium. Henicle previously played in nine games, including a victory over South Florida in the Cure Bowl. He redshirted in 2024 after starting one game that season and has shown promise as a 3-star recruit from Downingtown West High School in Pennsylvania.
