Olentangy Orange loses to St. Xavier in OHSAA baseball state semifinal

The Olentangy Orange baseball team lost 5-0 to Cincinnati St. Xavier in the OHSAA Division I semifinal on June 11 at 7 17 Credit Union Park in Akron. St. Xavier pitcher Jack Ryan allowed only three hits and struck out eight batters in the complete-game performance. Dominic Dials led St. Xavier offensively with two home runs, while Dillon Brus contributed a two-run triple. Olentangy Orange, making its third state tournament appearance, finishes the season at 24-6. St. Xavier will face Cincinnati Moeller in the state championship game on June 12.
