Otega Oweh aims to follow Oklahoma City's success model in NBA

Otega Oweh, drafted 14th overall by the Oklahoma City Thunder in 2026, seeks to emulate the team's successful development approach. After a challenging start to his career, Oweh aims to focus on improving his perimeter defense, a critical skill for two-way players. In his preseason appearances, he has recorded a total of eight points and seven rebounds. With a shortened time frame to prove himself, Oweh looks to leverage the experience of veterans like Alex Caruso to enhance his defensive game. He must establish his role either in the NBA or at the G League level during the upcoming season.
