Padres considering trade of reliever Mason Miller with several teams interested

The San Diego Padres may trade reliever Mason Miller, one of the most sought-after players on the market. Rival executives speculate that the Padres will adopt a dual approach of buying and selling before the trade deadline. The New York Yankees, Philadelphia Phillies, and Pittsburgh Pirates are identified as potential landing spots for Miller, who is under team control through the 2029 season. Miller’s ability to significantly impact a team’s bullpen enhances his trade value, leading to expectations of a competitive market for his acquisition.
