Panama City Panthers defeat Alabama Aviators 61-0 in regular season finale

The Panama City Panthers concluded their regular season with a 61-0 victory over the Alabama Aviators in Panama City, Florida. The team hosted the game as a Breast Cancer Awareness event, with players wearing pink uniforms to honor those affected by the disease. Running back Tyliek Mears contributed two rushing touchdowns and five two-point conversions to the highest-scoring performance in franchise history. Triston McCutchen, Ja'vyonn Waters, and Tij Washington also added touchdowns, while linebacker Dontell Baxter returned a fumble for a score and Majoure Dean recorded a safety. The defensive line accounted for seven sacks throughout the contest. Panama City is scheduled to host the Alabama Wardawgs on Sept. 12 in the opening round of the Gridiron Developmental Football League playoffs.
