Panthers fill roster spots with three moves on Wednesday

The Carolina Panthers announced roster changes ahead of Thursday's Hall of Fame Game. Defensive lineman LaBryan Ray has stepped away from football and has been placed on the reserve/retired list. To fill his spot, the Panthers have re-signed rookie defensive lineman Parker Petersen, who was previously waived. Additionally, offensive lineman Jake Curhan has been re-signed after appearing in 13 games last season. Offensive lineman Saahdiq Charles has been placed on injured reserve due to a calf injury.
